ARSEL, we have six values to guide our behavior towards each other and the public, which are:

- The dynamism: our energy comes from ensuring the balanced functioning of the electricity sector and the impact that our regulatory activities will have on the future. We are building on our strengths to push your limits, so as to fulfill our mission of monitoring, controlling and regulating the electricity sector in Cameroon. Our enthusiasm and optimism are commutative.

- Transparency: we must be covered and careful in our choices and decisions. We need to commit to saying what we do and doing what we say;

- The respect: mutual respect is our watchword in our activities. no discrimination (whether on grounds of sex, religion, age, etc.) can be accepted in the Agency.

- The simplicity : We must be frank and direct in our words and actions. we must simplify what is complex and use a language understandable by all players in the sector.

- Proximity: We pay attention to each other's opinions and keep an open mind to new ideas. our responses must be tailored to individual needs as well as those of the power sector in general.

- Anticipation : We must be able to predict events and send out warning signals in order to avoid or prevent disappointments and disasters. We are meant to be more coactive than reactive.

We also take care to reflect to third parties an established personality from the angles of:

- The availability: We are called to create lasting relationships, which is why our words and actions should be different. We must be ready to act whenever there is a need.

- Innovation: Initiative and creativity are aspects that we must encourage and promote among ourselves. We must be concerned with making ARSEL one of the best regulatory agencies in Africa and ensuring its continuity and sustainability.

- The responsibility: We must respect our values and take responsibility for our actions towards others and towards stakeholders in the sector. We must be actors in the sustainable development of the electricity sector.
